Summer is coming to an end soon and before we know it we will be decking the halls and whatnot. To me summer is a state of mind. Let us keep this state of mind running with a tribute to tasty summer libations.
On Friday I will start my first batch of Lemoncillo. By the time it is ready we will be transitioning from fall to winter and I will be in dire need of a reminder of the warm kiss of summer.
Don't get me wrong. Winter is great. Sitting by the fire with a a nice hot coco with a touch of triple-sec is a beautiful thing. But a cool reminder of summer fun is always welcome during those dreary winter months.
